Re: Material for upcoming January 17, 2003 Meeting

Happy New Year to all!
We have a full Council meeting scheduled for:


Friday, January 17, 2003
9:00 am to Noon
Veteran's Service Building, Fifth Floor
20 W. 12th Street, Saint Paul

We will make time for discussion and are seeking approval of reports to be completed this month and transmitted to Governor Pawlenty and the Legislature. Our agenda will also include updates on a number of activities underway connected to our broad vision and ongoing goals. As noted in an Email sent earlier, some additional material will arrive separately via Email prior to the meeting.

This is an exciting and busy time for us! We have an excellent opportunity to work with new Executive and Legislative leadership to continue strengthening and improving Minnesota's workforce development system. I am confident that our vision and articulation of challenges remains valid and that the Council is in a strong position to be an effective advocate for system improvements and efficiencies.
