We have, as usual, a full agenda including discussion of two important policy issues – one regarding our dislocated worker efforts in Minnesota and another regarding “certification” of training providers under the Workforce Investment Act.  To ensure that our discussion is productive, I urge you to review the enclosed materials carefully in advance of the meeting.

There is a great deal of work going on now regarding the state agency reorganization, legislative mandates given to the GWDC Executive Committee, and continuing assessment about what we must do to respond to a downturn in our state economy.  Your participation and engagement in our work is very important – and I look forward to your contributions on all the issues we will be covering at the next meeting.
