Subject: Workforce Development Committee Meeting on February 25, 2000 Attached is the agenda, minutes, map, meeting materials, and conference call instructions for the Workforce Development Committee of the Governor's Workforce Development Council scheduled for February 25, 2000. The purpose of this meeting is to receive information and provide input on issues related to the development of the State's plan under the Workforce Investment Act. An open and inclusive approach is being used in the development of this plan. Consistent with that approach, notice of this meeting is being sent to all members of the Governor's Workforce Development Council (GWDC). Members of the Council with an interest in the topics being addressed by the Workforce Development Committee are encouraged to participate. This participation may include attending the committee meeting in person or by conference call. Memoranda of Understanding Memoranda of Understandings (MOUs) are a required element of WIA to ensure coordination among various partners. Recommendations from staff will be presented.
