Senator Tarryl Clark represents District 15, which includes Saint Cloud, Waite Park, Haven Township, St. Augusta and Rockville in the Minnesota State Senate. She was elected on December 27, 2005, in a special election, and was sworn in on January 6, 2006.
In November 2006 she was elected by her caucus to serve as the Senate Assistant Majority Leader.
In the Senate, Tarryl is pushing for lower health care costs and insurance reform, to increase funding stability for local schools and find transportation and energy solutions for more cost-effective living. She currently serves on three committees: Rules (as Vice Chair), E-12 Education Budget and Higher Education Budget and Policy Division.
Senator Clark is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law (J.D. Cum Laude 1992), Arizona State University (M.Ed. Counselor Education 1986), and Drake University (B.A. Sociology 1983).
She is married to Doug Clark and has two sons, Nathan and Colin.
