The Education Policy Workgroup is one for four policy development committees convened by the GWDC to develop recommendations for the Council's 2011 Policy Advisory.
Policy Objectives:
All Minnesota students graduate high school prepared to do credit bearing coursework at a two- or four-year college or university and/or to embark successfully on a career-track employment position (that pays a living wage, provides benefits, and offers clear pathways for advancement through further education and training).
Minnesota schools provide a variety of opportunities for all students to connect their learning to the world around them, including the world of work.
GWDC member Mo Amundson chaired the Education Policy Workgroup. For a list of workgroup members, click here.
