Groundbreaking Program Design

Individuals need dreams, skills, and opportunities to advance to better jobs and earnings. While all workers need to have dreams, skills, and opportunities to advance in the workforce, these are particularly lacking for low-income / low skilled workers. Skills, dreams, and opportunities must also converge (happen together) within a program.
Low-income workers:

  • often lack the capacity of more educated and higher income workers to buy time for dream space

  • may less frequently receive "benefit of the doubt" in workplace conflict with front line supervisors

  • often lack the network to create their own opportunities for advancement
