The GWDC Learned:

• Not all short-term training providers provide quality services. The GWDC works with many short-term training providers through the Families Forward project. However, those grantees were selected by the McKnight Foundation based on their solid programs and placement rates. Even through all training providers most likely have the best interests of the individuals in mind, Minnesota must ensure all training providers are offering quality, flexible training programs to meet employers' and individuals' needs.
